The Rockdogs said their goodbyes to Chris Johnson last week as the Rockdog mainstay is moving across the Atlantic to further his education in Wales.

Yes, that's right. Wales.

Chris has been in the San Francisco Bay Area for nearly 10 years and will first fly back to the midwest, Indiana and Illinois, to visit family before heading off to Europe.

The 6-2 SG/SF remains a part of the Rockdog team. If his class schedule and finances allow, Chris will return for the San Francisco tournament in early 2010, and will definitely meet the team for the Gay Games in August 2010.

Rockdogs confirmed for Boston: The San Francisco Rockdogs have confirmed their participation in the Boston Tea Party, Boston's first gay basketball tournament in a decade. The Rockdogs will bring a roster of nine to the tournament being held during the weekend of October 17th and 18th.
